35 Pilots gave a show for the second stage of the Supermoto Cup Brazil at Interlagos May 4th.
On Sunday, the event began with the Sm3 category. Wilson Guimarães left in the front row and he struggled to hold the position until the end of the race. Roberto Gázquez (Master Supermoto team) was second, Khadun Lima in third, Marcelo Caetano fourth and Vinicius Tetzner in fifth. The top 5 engines were opened for inspection, since the class is for original engines, showing the League's credibility. In SM3 Pro, Adelmo Portuga (Dkindustries team Motul) left at the start and even with the fractured elbow, managed to keep the lead until the end of the race. The dispute was between good Pavaneli Alex, Felipe Teixeira (KL Racing) and Herbert Zangrossi. Alex took won their battle, finishing the race in second with Felipe in third, Herbert fourth and Octavio Pinto in fifth.
In SM4 The winner was Emerson Menezes, Followed by Beto Vieira in second,Glaucus Vinicius third, Anderson Fornielles in fourth and Uanderson Menezes in fifth.
SM2 category Bruno Campanatti debuted on his new team (Motul Dkindustries), took the lead and kept it until the checkered flag. During the race Luciano Rodriguez Suffered a serious accident and the crash interrupted the race about half way through but he was able to continue racing. There was a restart, Campanatti still in first, Francisco Fox Second, Guilherme Rocha in third, Luciano Rodriguez fourth and Thyrson Rodriguez in fifth.
Due to crashes in the SM2 race all the ambulances on track had left. We weren't able to hold the SM1 races this weekend. We will be holding an extra race for all SM1 riders at the next event.
